If I do not keep up my reading, my writing suffers. It is like a creative battery charged by words.

Time to charge my batteries! So many choices, I feel the need for some sci-fi, yes I do.

I am not sure I am switching focus, more of a… refractory period. Even when I am not writing there’s something moving around up there, building up.

I’m a new writer, so I could just be talking out my butt.

    Back to reading.

Part of the reason I started the bog was to get back in the habit of writing something besides emails, posts, and reports for work. Mrs. Drang is beginning to drop allegedly subtle hints about my starting to write again, too.
    Someday. Maybe.

The world needs more good writers. Especially now.

Writers that understand “the real gun culture” are in short supply. Michael Willamison. Larry Correia. Ross was good, but that was 1999. Who else? Weber, certainly, but after awhile we start going back to the grand old days. Well, I’ve already read the grand old days. Gibbors me something new!

In other words, GO FOR IT. There is a void that needs filling.

I would start by reading Miss Snark’s web (from my links) and you can get a good grasp of what it takes to be published.

    Write everyday!
