This is my 200th post on my blog. I had an elaborate, reflective meta post all planned out, but life sometimes interrupts my desires with the all too visceral.

Sometimes, it seems, death and sickness stalks me. Sometimes, I wonder, is this my price for my happy life? It almost seems like a test. Am I passing? Am I failing?

I hurt. A close friend I have known longer than I have not known her, is sick. She stands a good chance of getting well, but it brings to the surface all of those who did not. The memories come back, oh the memories. I can remember everything. Everything.

I hurt, dear God, I hurt.
